Chesham Place / Belgravia

The Client's initial specifications, for this high-end apartment in Belgravia, were for an interior that would blend naturally with the existing period details, whilst remaining neutral in order to highlight the exceptional architectural features and showcasing a collection of outstanding works of art.

We responded to the brief with a complete refurbishment of the whole apartment, selecting prestigious materials and colour scheme to complement our design of furniture pieces and architectural elements of strong visual connotation.

The bespoke satin stainless steel and bronze banister of the main staircase sensibly balance its rigorous geometrical patterns with the master pieces of classical art featured in this historically sumptuous residence.

Following completion of this first brief, we were then commissioned a further stage of works that involved the complete specification of the interior decoration of the building main entrance hall.
Our idea was to give the visitor a very welcoming experience by underlining, with opulent pieces of furniture and soft furnishing, the impressive character of the building.
Playing with the subtle contrast of the daylight and light installation, we designed the interior in a refined “chiaroscuro”.
