Groom Place / Belgravia

For this mews house in Westminster, we wanted to give a contemporary imprint to the truly British concept of the mews, one the most desirable type of residence in London.

We firstly carried out important structural works and new services were installed throughout the building to the highest standard.

Our main goal for the interior decoration was to overcome the lack of natural light due to the positioning of the existing fenestration. We found solution to this shortfall by working with an eclectic colour scheme enhancing contrasts and reflections.

Strong visual impact finishes, such as the metal tiles of the bathrooms, the eye catching wallpapers, the deep aubergine lacquer of the wall paneling, amplify the reflection of the light and add luminosity to the interiors.

The elegance of the Wenge flooring together with the immaculate white woodwork and the deep red colour of the stairwell works as a trait d’union between floors completing this symphony of eccentric elements.
