Hollycroft Avenue / Hampstead

This project was the refurbishment and extension of a substantial Arts and Crafts, Grade II Listed semi-detached house in Hampstead, one of the most desirable residential areas in North West London.

The brief was to inject a breath of fresh air in to the property whilst keeping its splendid feature and character. Working with Camden Council conservation team we achieved to refurbish and extend this property in a very sensitive manner.

We enhanced the elegant formality of the reception rooms and entrance hall, revitalized the lower ground floor areas opening the house to the beautiful garden.

A new conservatory, designed in keeping with the prestigious details and proportion of the rear elevation, creates a very enjoyable working space together with a newly created garden room.

For the interior and exterior finishes we specified prestigious materials that could dialogue with the historical quality of the existing. Reclaimed antique oak flooring was installed in all the main rooms and period fireplaces were reinstated to add a warm feeling to the interior.
Green shaded cobble stones flooring spread throughout the conservatory and garden room brings the hues of the garden indoor.
