Petersham Place / South Kensington

We were appointed to carry out a top to bottom refurbishment of this charming mews house in South Kensington, one of the most exclusive real estate in the world.

Our project aimed to maintain the true character of this traditional type of London dwelling creating a warm and cosy home.

Our leading idea was to use the texture of an exposed brick wall, counterbalanced by the dynamic shape of a cast iron spiral staircase, to create a three floors backstage to the main rooms and their furniture pieces.

A warm and sophisticated colour palette complements the natural honeyed tones of the English oak flooring spread throughout the three storeys.
In the main reception interest was provided with the red highlight of a gloss multimedia cabinet and the revitalizing presence of the fish tank.

Our design for the master bathroom is a work of colour. The Italian Onyx Fantastico worktop and crystal handles of the bespoke vanity cabinets, together with the back painted glass wall tiles give a special touch to this very intimate room.
